Locating Reputable Oregon Tennis Camps
Oregon tennis camps are a great way for individuals to learn new
skills, polish the ones they have and have a bit of fun in the process.
Tennis is a much loved sport with many people from all walks of life
and camps are developed for all levels of players, from beginner to
USTA League players. Tennis camps are most commonly staffed by
instructors that not only have a passion for the game but get a kick
out of teaching others everything they can about their favorite sport.
The skills pro players learn are the skills that will be taken with
them into league matches and tournaments.
Leong Tennis Academy’s goal is to develop the ENTIRE player by educating them on today’s game styles and facilitating them to choose, cultivate and master their own unique style of play that’s best suited for their personality and strengths.
Locations and Sill Levels
Because there is a need for quality facilities in which to instruct
their students, many reputable Oregon tennis camps can be found at
colleges or tennis clubs. It is important to choose a camp that is not
only trustworthy and established but able to offer the appropriate
level of skills for a player. The last thing anybody wants is to become
frustrated with their experience because the lessons are too easy or
too advanced. Occasionally, individuals find they have to travel in
order to attend Oregon tennis camps that complement their skill level.
However, when an individual is on his or her way to playing
professionally, this is hardly a sacrifice.
As sports are as much mental as they are physical, camps for tennis
players going pro teach a number of physical skills as well as work on
developing a winning attitude. Oregon tennis camps for students with
advanced skills will likely be staffed with professionals that have
solid experience in these aspects. It is important to choose a camp
that has a reasonable instructor to student ratio in order to ensure
each student gets enough one on one instruction. Many times, larger
camps may not be able to provide this. Some camps require as little as
two hours per day out on the court to six. This also includes strength
training and other drills.
Many times locating good Oregon tennis camps can be as easy as going by
word of mouth. Just as with players and coaches, some tennis camps have
been able to earn themselves an outstanding reputation. At the same
time, it is necessary to keep in mind that what works for one does not
always work for another. Therefore, it is always a good idea to do a
good amount of research before making a final decision.
